My uncle had a Protege5 for what seemed like forever and never had any problems with it. Hell, he loved that little thing. They're not street-going race cars by any means but they're decently fun to drive and reliable, so I bet if you get this guy down below $2000 it would be a NP.

The city I live in is too small for me to have a lot of options.Would love to find an older BMW or Volvo but the pickins' are slim.
